Summer Overnight Oats

Overnight oats are the perfect alternative to a big warm bowl of porridge in the summer months. This recipe is incredibly simple, taking no more than five minutes the evening before to throw all the ingredients into a glass jar. You can then wake-up the next morning to a thick, creamy and deliciously oozy breakfast, without any preparation at all. I especially love overnight oats for breakfast before a workout in the sunshine, topped with a good drizzle of nut butter and lots of summer fruits.

If you don’t want to wait all nights for your oats, then just try to leave them in the fridge for about 4 hours. The longer the better … but I understand that oats are one of the best foods ever, and so often it’s difficult to wait that long!
