Summer Overnight Oats
Overnight oats are the perfect alternative to a big warm bowl of porridge in the summer months. This recipe is incredibly simple, taking no more than five minutes the evening before to throw all the ingredients into a glass jar. You can then wake-up the next morning to a thick, creamy and deliciously oozy breakfast, without any preparation at all. I especially love overnight oats for breakfast before a workout in the sunshine, topped with a good drizzle of nut butter and lots of summer fruits.

Method
Ingredients
Measure out all the ingredients and add to a glass jar.
Mix thoroughly.
Leave the oats and chia seeds to expand overnight in the fridge.
The next day it should be a sticky, gooey texture, and you can then add any toppings you like.
Eat and enjoy!
1 cup of quick oats
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp maca powder
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup plant-based milk
